The Shocking Disconnect
"Why Christians fail to impact culture and politics and how to make a comeback"
David V. Daubenspeck grew up in a small city in western lower Michigan. At age 16 he was blessed with an opportunity to serve as a part-time radio news reporter and announcer, where he continued working on through his college years as he majored in communications and focused on biblical studies. It was during these formative years that his interest in political/social issues from a Christian vantage point began to take shape. David’s knowledge and worldview were further refined while participating in a National Association of Evangelicals chapter as part of helping grow the ministry of K-LOVE radio on the West Coast. His ability to understand and apply biblical principles in relation to evangelism, disciple-making, and addressing social concern issues developed as he served in various pastoral roles in northern and southern California and Minnesota. Since his days studying at Hope College, David has been involved in or leading some kind of small (growth) group Bible study throughout most of his adult life.

Trevor Loudon is an author, filmmaker and public speaker from Christchurch, New Zealand. For more than 30 years, he has researched radical left, Marxist and terrorist movements and their covert influence on mainstream politics. Trevor Loudon’s thesis is that what is commonly regarded as mainstream political policy is, in fact, driven and guided by hidden subversive elements. The Democratic party’s consistent defunding of the US military, Obamacare, the Iran Nuclear Deal, normalization of relations with Cuba, Islamic refugee re-settlement, $15 minimum wage, fracking bans, pipeline shutdowns and the push for illegal alien amnesty are all consistent with far-left and Islamist agendas.
His research has given Loudon unique insight into how extensively often minuscule communist parties have been able to manipulate, and even control policy formation in many Western countries – particularly the “main enemy:” the United States of America. Loudon’s research shows that this is not just a historical problem, but is a very grave and looming threat which will not only impact America’s national security but indeed her very survival.
Trevor is the author of, Barack Obama and the Enemies Within and The Enemy Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the U.S. Congress and White House Reds: Communists, Socialists and Security Risks Running for President, 2020. His most recent documentary is Enemies Within the Church, which is the subject of his presentation. For more information, visit https://TrevorLoudon.com

Steve Baldwin is a veteran leader at every level from local grassroots political organizations to national networking among prominent political leaders, as well as an author, pundit and political consultant.
After graduating from Pepperdine in 1979, Steve moved to Washington D.C. to help organize College Republicans for Ronald Reagan. His job was to educate college students about conservative philosophy and turn them into effective political activists.
In 2005-2006, he served a two-year term as Executive Director of the Young Americans for Freedom. During his six years in the legislature, Steve rose to become Minority Whip of the California Assembly and amassed a perfect record on pro-family, pro-taxpayer and constitutional issues.
In 2001, he returned to Washington to serve as Executive Director of Council for National Policy, the nation’s leading networking group for conservative leaders. In 2009, Steve returned to San Diego where he works on numerous writing projects and has resumed his work as a political consultant specializing in grassroots mobilization.
